Roko Cancer initiates Project in Orissa (JODA – Kenojhar District ) for one month as a pilot Cancer Awareness & Detection Project. The project initiated in association with Thriveni Earth Movers Private Limited CSR activities. The Project is also covering Diabetic & Blood Pressure tests as it is needed to maintain a good health not leading to cancer and other ailments. It is also precautionary measures to take the precautions to arrest advancement of these diseases along with Awareness & Early Detection (Mammography Screening) of Cancer Specially Breast Cancer.The awareness & Detection unit goes to mining areas of the district / villages and conducts awareness & detection programme. The activities include screening of awareness documentaries on breast cancer and breast self examination techniques are taught to all women attending the camp. Pamphlets in local regional language on Breast Self examination are distributed.
