On 19th December Awareness walk was conducted in Bathinda for the awareness of cancer.Oncologist, Doctors explained the early signs of cancer and how to do breast self examination to the audience.The walk was inaugurated by a breast cancer survivor for 30 yrs, Mrs.Satwant Kaur, Retired Deputy Director of Education to give a positive message to the masses, a concept appreciated by the masses.There were about 800 participants from various colleges as well as other prominent persons from IMA, Nanhi Chhaan, Rotary club, Lions club and other institutions. It was well received by the citizens of Bathinda and the people visiting Bathinda district, mass distribution of BSE leaflets in Punjabi, Hindi and English language.Mammography was offered free to the women at the end of the walk, next day a mammography camp was organised at HBN Suncity for the villagers around that area.

On 1st Feb 2009, Roko Cancer participated in the Walk for Cancer at Air Force Bal Bharti School Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The walk was flagged off by Smt. Sheila Dikshit, Chief Minister of Delhi.

On 30th Jan 09, Roko Cancer Organized an Awareness Walk from Guru Nanak Dev University to BBK DAV College in Amritsar where approx. 800 people participated in the walk. The walk was covered by the Media.

Roko participated in the walk at delhi to raise cancer awareness and our unit stands for early detection and did free memography for the public there.

Roko Participated in the Standerd Charted Marathon in Mumbai which was held in Jan -2006. Many film stars and pop stars are participated to raise the charity, awarenes campaign of Roko [STOP] Cancer.
